Greetings fellow Christian writers and authors! I just wanted to invite any Christian writers who would like to play along on Faith Lines Friday to share your lines of faith from your books and works in progress on Fridays.
I started this some time last year... I've been doing it sporadically as I have time, but I thought wouldn't it be nice to fill up Twitter and Facebook with lines of faith that honor the Lord? These can be any lines from your works that bring glory and honor to God or point people to the Lord.
Here's the line I'm using this Friday--: "It would take some time for her to stop holding her breath, to embrace the depths of God's love for her, and not merely flounder in hope." This is a line from the character of Chelsea Stanton in Persecution & Providence.
I don't have many rules for this. I want to keep it easy; draw attention and honor to the Lord; build up the faith of Christians; draw potential readers to our books; and help readers who do not typically buy Christian fiction or Christian books to consider doing so.
I'm going to tag my Tweets and Facebook posts with hashtag #FaithLinesFriday whenver I am able to fit the tag on the tweets and posts. I don't mind if you share a photo of your book and a link directly to it or no photo/link at all. Everything sells better with a photo and a link, so I highly recommend it; but it's totally up to you! Have fun with it! That's it! Play along if you want to!
