I’d love to share with you today how I began a new career as a senior citizen…

 

I first began writing a book when I was in my thirties, but I was working full time and raising my children, so I figured it wasn’t realistic to try to finish it—and I put it away.  Several years ago, my daughter challenged me to follow her example and write 50,000 words in 30 days during the NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) annual challenge.

 

I accepted and completed the challenge… and finally began the career I had always dreamed of! I’ve had two books published already and I’m under contract with S&G Publishing for three more books in the Amish Sweet Shop series.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Lemon Tart Mystery was scheduled for release a few weeks ago, but due to unforeseen issues, it has been delayed. I’m thrilled with the story and how it turns out… I hope readers will feel that Lemon Tart Mystery was worth the wait.

Naomi Miller mixes up a batch of intrigue, sprinkled with Amish, Mennonite, and English characters, adding a pinch of mystery - and a dash of romance!

Naomi works full time as an author, blogger and inspirational speaker. She is a member of the American Christian Fiction Writers (ACFW) organization. When she’s not working on the next book in her Sweet Shop Mystery series, Naomi enjoys traveling with her family, singing inspirational/gospel music, taking daily walks, and witnessing to others of the amazing grace of Jesus Christ.
